“The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair,
and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater.”
~ J.R.R. Tolkien, The Two Towers

Love has always been the answer.
Despite the sin that filled the world when Eve first took that apple, God always knew that He could save us through sending His son to fight for us, to intercede for us and to continue interceding on our behalf.
Love was always the answer.
And indeed darkness prevails, and sin is rampant, and there are huge amounts of horror and terror and violence and crimes against the very nature of humanity.
But love is always the answer.
And oppresses the violence and fraught nature of the world and the humans within. Because within the large areas of negativity, therein lies small pockets of wonder. Small pockets of goodness, and grace and mercy and love that the world so desperately needs.
These are pockets of community, with people that embue Jesus. That teach the Word, that glow with the very essence of God, that are givers, whole-hearted lovers of Christ. These are the people we must watch out for.
These are the people who answer the call of Love and what it stands for.
